Harvard social psychologist Dr. David McClelland, through research discovered that your “reference” group, the people you consistently associate with, determine up to 95% of your success or failure in life. We’ve all heard the saying that “birds of a feather flock together” and I think that we all lean heavily towards that being majority truth. Our growth is mainly dependent on the information we take in (books, media, etc.), life experiences, and the people we associate with. Simply put, if you’ve been stuck at the same place for years and aren’t satisfied with where you are, it’s time to reevaluate those things.

Nothing is accidental about real change or progress. You need to be conscious and intentional about your daily actions. You need to be self-aware with the ability to measure where you are versus where you want to be. Lack of self-evaluation is a recipe for never achieving self actualization; and remember, the clock is ticking.

Happy Monday Everyone! A new week is here. Let’s Crush It!!! ????
